New SACSCOC Standards Available on SPOL Today
If you’ve followed the news from SACSCOC over the past two years, you know that the Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement has undergone significant review and revision. SACSCOC member institutions contributed to the discussion, and the Principles Review Committee and others devoted many hours to prepare the final version. Institutions represented at the College Delegates Assembly’s Business Meeting approved the proposed Principles as amended at the December Annual Meeting in Dallas, TX. The new Principles will become effective January 1, 2018.
Knowing that many of the Principles changes can have a significant impact on your reaffirmation efforts, SPOL is dedicated to providing essential services to move you from the initial cycle creation through publication. Whether it’s helping you develop narratives that work, offering suggestions from our experienced staff on providing evidence, demonstrating the utility of the Assessment and Credentialing Modules relative to accreditation, or providing onsite assistance either at the beginning or often-frantic last weeks of your work, the SPOL team is here for you. We know that the SACSCOC accreditation process can be stressful, but we at SPOL are dedicated to helping you to a successful reaffirmation review.
